Matt has worked in the financial sector for over 15 years. During this time, he has undertaken many qualifications, earning him his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and is currently working towards obtaining his Chartered status.
He is a founder of Accelerate, leads the business day-to-day, shaping its vision, operations, and commitment to excellence across the financial planning profession.
In 2024, Matt won the Outsourced Paraplanner of the Year award from Professional Paraplanner, recognising his exceptional contributions to the industry.
He has a passion for personal development, continuous improvement and travelling the world. Outside of work, he spends time playing football and tennis, reading, and socialising.
Deb is our Administration Manager.
Deb has worked in the financial services and administration sectors for over 30 years. She oversees a wide variety of administrative tasks and functions within the company. She has a genuine love of spreadsheets, which serves to keep everything running in-house and beyond.
Deb was honoured to win the Professional Paraplanner Administrator of the Year award for 2024.
In her free time, Deb enjoys theatre (both live and on film), spending time with her family, crafting and long walks in the rain.
Stephanie is our Head Paraplanner and has worked in the financial sector since 2019.
In that time, she has obtained her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, receiving The Insurance Institute of Leicester’s prize for ‘Best Performance in Achieving Qualified Status’ in November 2022. She went on to achieve her Advanced Diploma and was awarded Chartered status in November 2024.
In July 2024, she won the award for New Paraplanner of the Year at the Professional Paraplanner Awards.
Outside work, Stephanie enjoys theatre trips, Pilates, tap dancing, and performing with her burlesque troupe
Emily joined our growing team, new to the industry, in early 2023 and has since become a key part of our financial admin crew.
She is well underway with her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and looks forward to further developing her knowledge and advancing her career with Accelerate and within the finance industry as a whole.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys both playing and watching football, cooking, and spending long weekends away travelling and exploring sunny holiday destinations.
Ed has spent over 16 years in the financial sector, working behind the scenes as a paraplanner to help turn complex advice into clear, client-friendly strategies. He holds a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and thrives on turning complex advice into clear, client-friendly strategies.
Ed is married to the amazing Katy and proud parent to three twenty-somethings who are slowly flying the nest. When he’s not walking the dog, they are usually enjoying a coffee and wandering the local villages. He is a lifelong Leicester City and Tigers fan, which means he’s learned to handle both glory and heartbreak in equal measure.
Lily joined our team in January 2025 as one of our Financial Administrators. Lily has worked as a Financial Administrator for nearly 3 years and is currently working towards her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is passionate about improving her knowledge and abilities within the Financial Industry. In her free time, Lily enjoys hiking, reading and travelling.
